Clinic Options:

For several years, Streetlife has been conducting and performing series of highly successful clinics and concerts in high schools throughout the state of Wisconsin. There are two unique types of clinic to choose from.

The first option features Streetlife's acclaimed saxophonist, flutist, and keyboardist Warren Wiegratz. It includes a rehearsal with the high school band; a sectional or full-band clinic/discussion of music in general - and Jazz in particular - and a concert performance. The solo clinic is appropriate for all music students, and Jazz ensemble, especially.

The second option features Streetlife performing, explaining, and instructing in the art of music making. It includes specialized sectional instruction, the band sitting in with the high school ensemble, and an evening concert with the high school band. The clinic can be structured as a whole-school assembly or an event that is specially tailored to music students.

The clinics have been an artistic and financial success for all the schools involved. The name recognition and popularity of Streetlife helps to sell tickets to the post-clinic concerts. And some additional financial assistance may be provided by instrument manufacturers that endorse Streetlife musicians, which currently include Höfner guitars, Leblanc/Yanagisawa, Pearl drums, Meinl percussion, Ravel saxophones, and Roland keyboards.
