Throughout Rhonda’s 22-year signing career, one thing has remained the same. No matter how many times she sings a song that you've heard before, it always sounds like you're hearing it for the first time. Full of soul, spirit, and meaningful expression, Rhonda always “connects” herself with the music she sings, causing any audience to connect with the band.

Rhonda attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, after graduating from high school in Stillwater, Minnesota. Soon after moving to Boston, Rhonda connected with Betty Carter, Joe Williams, Winton, Delfeayo and Branford Marsalis, Roy Hargrove and Layla Hathaway. Rhonda also had the esteemed pleasure of performing with Shirley Ceasar at a Gospel concert and developed a long time musical friendship with popular Grammy-nominated Blues singer, Susan Tedeschi.

Rhonda returned to Milwaukee in 1991 and, within a year, her musical career began. In 1992 she joined the Eddie Butts Band. Since leaving the Eddie Butts Band, Rhonda has performed with many of the area’s finest bands, such as Body Language, Jon Paris, Cold Sweat, Hot Sauce, the North Coast Orchestra, and her own band, Midnight Groove. Rhonda also had the pleasure of singing backup with Susan Tedeschi on the Conan O’Brian show in December of 2005.

Rhonda currently performs the National Anthem for the Milwaukee Brewers, Bucks, Admirals, Wave, and at other patriotic events throughout Wisconsin. She balances her singing career with her husband Zoy and son Keaton. Rhonda and Zoy own a musical booking agency, Z and R Entertainment, now in its 4th year of operation.

Rhonda is EXTEREMLY excited about joining Streetlife and looks forward to a wonderful, fun and musical experience for years to come.
